Through our Accelerated Parenting™ program, Cradle2Career provides free equity based services and support to young parents. Our program provides opportunities for personal, educational and economic self-sufficiency This includes educational assistance through High School & GED and College & Career readiness Programs. Additional supportive services include healthy relationships and personal growth classes, licensed counseling, general parenting classes, and financial literacy. All programs are designed to help young parents build healthy families and bright families.
We offer a variety of programs designed to help young parents become self-sufficient members of their community who are also nurturing, loving parents. We offer a menu-style approach to services that allows our young parents to define their own goals and then select the components that will help them reach those goals.
Our College & Career Program is designed to help our young parents succeed in college and in their chosen career path, providing practical tools and support including advising, tutoring, SAT/ACT prep assistance and more. Cradle2Career builds workforce partnerships that provide opportunities that support young parents through their career path, from job readiness to job skills development to career development. It is our goal to help our young parents build careers that pay a wage that will allow them to be self-sufficient and independent.
Cradle2Career offers young parents an interactive, engaging parenting education through classes and one-on-one guidance. Our Parenting 101 class is curriculum and topic based with instructor led discussion. We offer a range of other classes, including a support group for young parents who have children with special needs, age-specific parenting sessions and individual coaching.
We offer relationships courses that help young parents recognize and navigate heathy and unhealthy relationships, and to build and cultivate healthy relationships in their lives. The classes cover everything from recognizing healthy, unhealthy, and abusive relationships to topics like anxiety, boundaries, and grief & loss.
Young parents who are active with Cradle2Career earn access to items donated to Cradle2Career such as diapers, clothing, books, shoes, baby formula and more.
Cradle2Career offers opportunities for young fathers to connect with experienced mentors/fathers to seek advice and help navigate parenthood through our Foundations of Fatherhood mentoring program. Mentors and Mentees will discuss topics that will help young fathers become the best versions of themselves.
Cradle2Career provides scholarships to young parents to pursue post-secondary education at two- and four-year colleges and universities and technical and career readiness programs.
